Our New Video
Winter 2011
As the days grow shorter and you and your loved ones prepare for the holidays, it's important to remember to take time for your health and be sure not to skip your annual eye exams. Most of us do much more driving at night and yes, even here in San Deigo, we do experience the need to drive in some rainy conditions. Non-glare coatings and the right prescription are especially important at reducing glare from headlights and surface reflections in order to make every trip as safe as possible. Your
sunglasses should also have a non-glare surface
and you might want to consider polarized lenses which block surface glare even more.
During the winter months, many patients experience more ocular irritatiion and dryness caused by heaters and fans. The use of over-the-counter artificial tears can be helpful, but the choices are often overwhelming when trying to decide which is the right choice. In some cases, it's important to increase your own natural tears with medication. Ask us about which dry eye therapy is right for you during your next eye
exam.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
It's Still Allergy Season!
This has been one of the worst years we have had for allergies in a long time. Luckily, we really
have some great new treatment options to keep you comfortable whether you wear contacts or not. Talk to us about how you can feel better with drops when you come in for your next eye exam..
